Why "Jesus changes everything"?
Grow Together
We are excited for the many ways RedeemerKIDS are growing together!
Weekly Classes
Sunday mornings, our children from birth through Kindergarten have class during service, while first and second graders participate in “breakout” session during the sermon. Our amazing teachers and youth volunteers are trained and excited to provide an environment for children that is safe, intentional, fun, and most importantly rich with biblical truth.
In all of our Sunday morning classes, we use a curriculum that teaches that the Bible is God’s true word, from God and about God. Each lesson highlights one of these Foundational Truths: God made Everything, God is in Charge of Everything, God is Good, Jesus Came to Save Sinners, God Wants to Talk with Us, and The Church is God’s Family. These simple but important truths help us teach biblical stories while keeping our focus on God!

Have a child with special needs? We would love to partner with you in ministering to your child and will do whatever we can to accommodate their needs. Every child has unique needs and struggles and is of supreme value in the eyes of God. We want to do whatever we can to “make it work” for you and your family. We know that entering a new environment can be more of an obstacle for some kids than others, so if there is any way that we can accommodate and dialogue with you about your child’s needs, we would love to do that! Contact Rachael Seymour for more information or to chat about how we can best "make it work" for your family!
Serve Together
Kids are welcomed and encouraged to serve our city alongside the rest of our church through Redeemer LOVES which hosts various kid-friendly serving opportunities throughout the year. For more information check out our Redeemer LOVES Norman page. |

Meet Our Children's Minister
Rachael Seymour, our children’s minister, has been a dedicated member of Redeemer Church since 2014, when she and her husband, Shawn, returned to Oklahoma after serving as missionaries in Jamaica. Since joining Redeemer, their family has joyfully grown to include five children — MJ, Bobby Grace, Luke, Malachi, and Campbell.
Rachael joined Redeemer’s staff in January 2016, holding various roles before stepping into her current position as children’s minister in January 2021. Her ministry degree and experience as a missionary, social worker, and mother have prepared her and deeply shaped her approach to leading RedeemerKIDS. Rachael is fueled by a passionate desire to partner with parents and teachers, creating a vibrant space where children can learn about, know, and grow closer to Jesus Christ.
